There are so many ways of feeding these suet treats - from a mesh peanut feeder (with or without peanuts), mixed with seed or simply on their own from a bird table or the ground. They are a favourite of Blackbirds, Robins, Song Thrushes and Starlings.

These are just what birds need at this time of year. We put them out (with other food) in a wire cage that excludes large birds. We get 6 or more blackbirds and they are already waiting each morning for their breakfast. The pellets are ideal for blackbirds as they can fill their crops and fly off to digest them.

Always good quality. I have two blackbirds that sit and wait until I feed them every morning, many other birds love them as well.

I have been buying these pellets from Vine House for a number of years. The birds in my garden love them. I use hanging feeders and a bird table and get a variety of birds eating them. Alison Exeter

From an initial slow acceptance of my garden visitors, I am seeing increasing popularity with these suet pellets amongst many species. The greatest delight for me is the Great Spotted Woodpecker. Early after fledging time, an adult would accompany one to two juveniles to the feeder to show them how to help themselves! I cannot distinguish individual woodpeckers, but the great spotted visits multiple times per day. It's well worth putting the pellets in caged hanging or ground feeders that the corvids cannot access. Otherwise, your stocks will rapidly diminish.

I have lots of small birds passing through my garden, and some not-so small-ones. I do feed these wild birds constantly. They all appear to particularly like and appreciate the Suet Pellets.
