Sultanas for Birds Reviews

4.8 Rating 86 Reviews
Read Vine House Farm Reviews

Succulent sultanas are a real favourite of ground feeding garden birds such as Blackbirds, Song Thrushes and Starlings. Sultanas are especially valuable in late winter and spring when natural fruits are difficult to find.

In the breeding season Sultanas are best soaked in water so adult birds can feed them to their young. Sultanas and raisins are suitable for bird tables and ground feeders

Please note that sultanas can be harmful to dogs if eaten.

They didn't arrive until I complained. Then I was told they had "gone to the wrong depot and would be delivered to the next day". A week later after more complaints they finally turned up. So much for next day delivery.

We are sorry for the delay with the delivery of the remainder of your order. A replacement order was sent as the original was lost in transit. Apologies again for any inconvenience caused.

The birds seem to love these. Sometimes I soak them particularly in the nesting season as I understand that it helps feeding the younger birds.

Good quality for humans. The birds (even the blackbirds) do not seem to like sultanas.

Better than most 'human's sultanas! Soaking them because it's so dry here and the blackbirds can't forage in the ground. Enjoyed by blackbirds, starlings, jackdaws, collared doves etc.
