Sultanas for Birds Reviews

4.8 Rating 86 Reviews
Read Vine House Farm Reviews

Succulent sultanas are a real favourite of ground feeding garden birds such as Blackbirds, Song Thrushes and Starlings. Sultanas are especially valuable in late winter and spring when natural fruits are difficult to find.

In the breeding season Sultanas are best soaked in water so adult birds can feed them to their young. Sultanas and raisins are suitable for bird tables and ground feeders

Please note that sultanas can be harmful to dogs if eaten.

I have never tried these myself, but the local avian population cannot get enough of them!

These sultanas are a roaring success for the birds in my garden - across blackcaps, blackbirds & starlings plus the odd seagull when one drops while filling the covered table. Happy birds / over-indulgent pensioner...

These sultanas are of excellent quality, the packaging is recyclable paper and the delivery times are very good. I have bought a cheaper product elsewhere but the stalks that are included constitute a significant part of the weight and are also a chore to remove. So I went back to Vine House Farm and have not been disappointed.

Always good quality so worth the extra cost (cheaper options are available) plus they come in recyclable paper packaging. The blackbirds and thrushes love them. Delivery is prompt.
