Live Mealworms Reviews

There's no doubt that more bird lovers would feed live mealworms to their garden birds if only they could get over the sight of all those wriggling little creatures. The rewards of feeding live mealworms far outweigh any misgivings you may have about their wiggle, and the benefits to birds - in particular during the nesting and fledgling season - can be spectacular and can make the difference between survival or otherwise.

Very prompt delivery. Worms of good quality. My garden birds are lining up every morning when they see me coming with their fresh mealworm supply.

Robin and I hve always had a close realationship. He would always come and comment on my diging technique and despite my best efforts to hide any exposed earthworms would usualy manage to steal a few. Since the arrival of mealworms, he has become even more attentive. Because of the consistent naging I have decide that he is a she.

I left them in the containers and placed under bushes for the smaller ground birds to find .

Don't be put off by the name! They are not slimy and they don't bite! They are vegetarian bettle larvae. Surprisingly easy to handle. I've just ordered a second batch. I use a ground cage so that the robins get a chance. The birds absolutely love them. I'm hoping to see fledglings coming for them in a few weeks time.
