Then Blackbirds absolutely loved them.
Each time you put some out for the birds they were gone in an hour. I thought we'd have a problem getting through them all before they turned into beetles but it was quite the opposite. Great for the time of year when blackbirds and thrushes have babes to feed because of the high protein and high water content. Excellent experience.”
“Two robins and two blackbirds follow me around the garden and the robins follow me into the greenhouse and even through the back door demanding these. Sparrows and thrushes love them as well but don’t hassle me, just look expectant. They would happily eat a bag a day.”
