“Impressively low profile for a full face helmet. Outstanding fit and finish, comfortable, and light weight! Seriously... this helmet is noticeably light! Excellent field of vision as well. Highly recommended. Comms Compatibility Warning: if you are considering installing a comms system this can be done, but its a tight fit and can potentially sacrifice some of the comfort around the ears. I swapped to the adhesive (non-clip) mount option and dropped the speakers a little lower toward the base of the straps, and that seemed to resolve the issue for me.”

“I have used this helmet for a short time and done a few rides and so far find the helmet to be quite comfortable and it feels like good quality you'd expect from Shoei. I like the old school style screw for the visor which makes adjustments easier with a screwdriver instead of fancy new clips. Wind noise is the biggest issue on all reviews. If you're using earplugs (like I do), you will be fine. If not, anything over 50mph will be unbearable. I got caught in a brief rain shower and the lid held up with no water ingress. Winter will be a real test in the rain and the cold as there is a noticeably increased airflow inside the helmet. I would have liked a more solid chin cover for the colder weather instead of the supplied mesh one. I like the retro look of the helmet.”

“This is my first Shoei helmet and overall, it's a great piece of equipment. Positives: very comfortable, it comes with a chin curtain that works extremely well, decently quiet at speed, very light weight & it looks great. Negatives: speaker pockets are not really very functional, way too shallow IMO; the face shield, which comes with a pin lock, tends to still fog up quite a bit along the top edge (on really cold mornings condensation almost drips down); replacement shields (mirrored or smoked) are way too expensive. Overall, it's a solid helmet that is tied as my 2nd go to after my Arai Rapide (fantastically comfortable & great looking as well) and my Bell Eliminator (the Provision visor on this is unbeatable, it NEVER fogs and looks fantastic as well).”

“After watching reviews on you tube .. I was concerned about noise.. but found the helmet to be as good as any other.. especially with chin skirt attached...very good quality build.. I found the visor and catch to be excellent design and operation .. venting was perfect if you need some extra low air just open visor a crack.. .. this is a great full face helmet for people who prefer an open face”

“Great fit, fast service. Nice comfortable and light weight. Personally think it looks great with dark visor just a shame the visor isn’t pinlock ready. Personally prefer this to the Arai Rapide which is larger and heavier. Did have to order a L in this whilst I’m usually a M.”
