“The Merlin Gobi Chukka boots were a nice surprise, especially since they were on sale. Quite a nice pair of good weather boots for the urban explorer, on and off the bike. Or a classic scooter, for that matter. I think somehow they look better in real life than in the product photos, not sure why. The style and finish of the leather is an acquired taste, obviously. But with proper care and avoiding rubbish weather I'm sure they'll age gracefully. So far no regrets. Based on my previous experience with another Merlin shoe model I was a bit worried about the size, but the Chukka boots turned out to be true to size, they fit nicely.”

“These boots look even better than in the picture. Extremely smart and certainly not out of place for any formal function. My first job was to spray them with suede protector to ensure long lasting smartness. The build quality is excellent. True to size I highly recommend this boot if you want to look smart on and off the bike”
