“The mesh keeps me cool during riding. Where I live it can get over 40 degrees, and this jacket helps with keeping me protected and cool. The inclusion of back and elbow protection is great. I would have liked shoulder protection, but there is an excess of material in the shoulders, so that will help a little.”

“This jacket is really versatile and like all Merlin products, great quality and styling. I wear it with a base layer on chilly days and over a T-shirt on hot Texas summer days. Great venting and fit is spot on. Although it’s mesh, feels very safe.”

“Great jacket. I bought the Merlin Hixon full leather jacket for colder days and this one for hot days. The sizing of the two are the same. With slightly longer arms which are perfect for me. The hem hits right at my belt coming down slightly lower in the back. The mesh is great. I replaced the shoulder and elbow armor with ghost 3dO and you barely notice it. Great style and really well made jacket. Really appreciate it coming with all the armor and back plate even though I upgraded it. The diamond stitching is a nice touch.”

“I was struggling to find a jacket that looked good and was cool enough for the CA heat. The Merlin Chigwell Lite ended up being perfect. It has plenty of ventilation to keep me cool. The branding is subtle and the overall style is great leading to a good looking jacket.”

“Excellent summer jacket that looks great and fits even better. It is also very light and ventilation works great so wearing it on +25 °C felt like riding in a T-shirt. The UR staff is super nice and delivery was ultra fast which makes this one of the best online buying experiences ever. Also, our cat really loves the box so it looks like we are going to have to keep it :)”

“It Breathes. At 25C I get too cold riding with it. Hopefully will be just right for the hot summer days. It looks fantastic. Stylish. Comfortable too. Came packaged very well, super fast (UK to Israel in 46 hours!)”
