“Excellent jacket well made to a decent cut. A tad on the heavy side, but not uncomfortably so, wound have given 5 stars, if there had been a zipped external pocket, to secure wallet etc. All in all pleased with the jacket. Gave it a good run round the west country over the last few days, performed OK.”

“I liked the jacket, looked great and good quality but it wasn’t a great fit on me, I have a fairly long back and broad shoulders so I can struggle getting a good fit. I would have kept the jacket if it fitted me better because it was good quality. I returned it. Urban Rider sent it quickly, gave me a free return label and refunded me with no issues at all, great service from Urban Rider.”

“Great Jacket. I'm 6 ft and as per the guidance on the video by urban rider I opted for a medium. Fits like a dream. Very warm on long motorway rides in the rain. No leaks. Easy to put on and looks lovely. Very very please with it. I have 2 other Belstaff jackets and got to say, the Merlin is my favourite. The only niggle is the elastic draw string inside for the waist are I bit long and a faff when you put it on, but a very minor annoyance.”

“The jacket it’s amazing. It’s really warm and the inner layer can be removed if needed. The protections are great very comfortable. The look is superb with a vintage style in a modern jacket.”

“Brilliant. I got the medium jacket that was a great fit, but very tight round my neck. Swapped it out for a large which took a while. But no problem, if there was a medium large I would be laughing. A very warm decent looking comfy winter jacket.”

“I usually wear L size and this jacket fits me perfect, so don’t worry about the size. The quality is very good and seems to keep you warm in cold days. There is many pockets on the outside and on the inside of the jacket for taking all the stuff you want with you for your ride, so again don’t worry about that.”

“Totally impressed with the style and fit. I was surprised at how heavy the jacket is, but once on it feels really comfortable. Unobtrusive D30, ample adjustments easy fastening. Used in low teen temperatures without liner, plenty warm enough. Great job by Merlin, knocks more expensive brands out of the park!”
