“Really pleased with this jacket, it looks great and the quality/detailing is excellent. Haven't worn it in the rain yet but it is plenty warm, had to remove the liner even in 15 degree Celsius Autumn sun. Sizing is spot on. Lots of pockets which are very handy.”

“First off let me say I havent tried the jacket on my bike yet as its a winter (ish) jacket and where I live we are seeing close to 30° C max temperatures already. Anyhow, at first contact the Kurkbury feels great and wonderfully comfy. The versatility is beyond compare, pockets aplenty and lots of possibilities to adjust sleeves, cuffs, waist and collar. Thanks to Andrews reviews I chose the correct size right off and it fits like I was born wearing it. I never thought I would say this, but I cant wait for winter to come!”

“Fantastic jacket, size runs one size large I'm normally a medium but definitely a small in this. Fits very well and looks good, build quality is equal to or better than Belstaff in my opinion. Slightly waxy/wet feeling to the material, cuffs have enough room to fit gloves over or under and warm without being too bulky and restrictive. I wear this off the bike as well as it doesn't look too much like a bike jacket either. And it's British!”

“Compared it to the Edale. Mostly its a question of styling. Comprehensive features found on more expensive jackets. Some of the finishing let it down a little - especially the belt which, for a high wear area, might be a little better and didnt hang so well when not buckled. Not sure about the poacher pocket - but thats taste. Overall package really good, especially the detachable liner for the price. All in all very good.”

“UR put the effort in so you don’t have to - I must have watch Andrew describe the Kurkbury jacket about a dozen times while mulling the replacement for my current jacket. Standard speedy delivery, with regular notifications along the way as always from Urban Rider. The Kurkbury is everything I’d hoped, quality feel and all the technical spec for an amazing price. I’m turning into a Merlin fanboy. While this is mid summer so I can’t comment on the NASA tech outlast’s ability to keep you warm, its cooling properties are spot on. This one jacket, with it’s on/off the bike tailoring, has replaced my old motorcycle jacket and several of my other non-bike gear. It’s really that good. The lightweight outer fabric doesn’t “wet out” so it’s just great for my daily commute, and can wear to the shops at lunchtime without looking like a storm trooper. Merlin are on a roll, and the quality of production UR put into the videos make the lock-down shopping process easy.”

“Spent close to a year scouring UR deciding on a new jacket to buy. I still wasn't 100% sure when I ordered but took a punt. The vid reviews were very helpful! Absolutely love this jacket. Wanted something that looked good on and off the bike - suffice to say I've worn this more off the bike so far! On the bike it has a great weight, feeling sturdy but not restrictive. I'm 6ft and ordered the medium. Very comfortable, there's plenty of scope to adjust fitting with side vents and the belt for a tapered waist. Material, build quality, and waterproofing are all top notch. Great jacket, well done Merlin. Thanks Urban Rider.”
