“I’m very happy with the overall quality and the looks. The only thing that could be better in my opinion is the zipper that feels a bit weak compared to how the rest of the jacket is constructed. I don’t agree with the video that you should go for a size smaller. I’m usually a medium and medium fittet me well but with a snug fit. Bought a small first that I had to return, I could barely close the zipper with a sweater under. Overall good value for the money!”

“I heeded the website advise and ordered a medium as I’m normally a large with 41-42” chest. It fits, but is a very snug, tailored fit. More comfortable with the liner removed.”

“This is my second Merlin wax jacket from Urban Rider. The Kurkbury replaces my Yoxall as I prefer the more traditional length and waist belt style. The updates such as D30 armor and Cotec fabric are substantive improvements and seem to make the jacket a bit lighter in weight. I live in the Arizona Highlands so I keep the very warm liner in through mid May. By July I change to a mesh jacket and I hope to have a new Merlin Shenstone mesh model by then. I think very highly of the Merlin products and I'll say that quality is equaled by the fine service and great prices at Urban Rider.”

“Happy with the look and feel of the jacket! I took size M which I usually wear and it suits me well. The quality of product is, as expected, high and fits the price. Unfortunately I received it with the liner from the Edale jacket. Which was a strange mistake, but Urban Rider thankfully reacted well and offered me to change it or a partial refund. All in all a good buy!”

“Outstanding piece of kit, 100% functional in all aspects, top quality materials and workmanship. I ride all year round and have worn this jacket every day on my commute to work since the beginning of autumn and this jacket has never let me down even in the most arduous conditions, I always arrive warm and dry. Arguably superior to Belstaff offerings at a unfeasibly reasonable price, this jacket is extremely comfortable the Outlast lining is impressive maintaining a comfortable temperature even on warmer days. The Reissa Active membrane works exceptionally well, I have never had water get into this jacket whilst riding in the rain. Read and watch the video on Urban Rider for all the details, impressive jacket would not hesitate to buy another if I had too.”
