“Got 3 pairs of John Doe mono’s and they wear like normal jeans, you’d struggle to see they were bike jeans. Perfect when the temperature hits double figures, you get a bit cold below that if you’re on dual carriageways etc but ok around town.”

“This riding jeans feels really good and looks good and their sizing is spot on. This is a well made riding jeans and the fit and finish is really high quality. There is enough protection for your knee and hips. I bought two sets of this.”

“Don’t know what to say really, exactly what they say on the tin. They look like normal jeans, armour is spot on, can’t wait to wear them in the summer to get the full effect of the moon layer. Absolutely nothing to complain about. Im usually a 34 waist and followed the urban rider advice and went for a 32. Fit really well”

“I have a pair of John Doe two-layer jeans that I love. These are even better. Very comfortable, light weight, unobtrusive armour that's easy to leave in all day, high quality zipper, pockets are full depth. Urban Rider normally does a fantastic job of sizing advice, but on these, it's a bit awkward. I'm normally a 30 waist, 32 inseam, so I ordered the 28 based on their advice. I had to send them back, they were way too small! (In typical UR style, this took only a few days). The 30s, though, are a bit big - not enough to ruin the fit, but you may want to get a slimmer than you'd expect.”
