“These trousers are perfect for me. I wear Leatt 3DF 6.0 knee guards underneath these for a more casual look when adventure riding. When I am just commuting I use the provided knee pads and they are nice and minimal. The material of these are nice and stretchy which makes them super comfortable and makes getting on the bike nice and easy! I originally bought the mono defender trousers from John Doe, but they are too slim fitting for my needs. These are perfect. I think I’ll only be buying these for a more casual look.”

“I'd been after a new pair of riding jeans for some time. I'd read the reviews of the Defender Mono, and decided to pull the trigger a few weeks ago. You can't buy anything like these down here in NZ and I was a little bit anxious as to how the sizing may work out. Well, to say I was blown away with the quality would be an understatement. These things are beautifully made and the overall construction is second to none. As for sizing, Urban Riders measurements are spot on. I'm 182cm, weigh approx 78kg, and usually wear a size 31. In the John Doe Defender Mono's I went for a 32" waist and 34" length based on Urban Riders measurements. Off the bike, I roll the hem up so they sit on top of my low boots. On the bike, they're perfect for full leg cover right down over my ankles. Armour sits where it needs to be as well. Overall I couldn't be happier and will now look to buy a second pair in Black!”
