“Fabric feels like a normal denim jeans and they fit perfectly like a pair of jeans, I initially bought the Black colour and after having it and wearing it for a week I’ve decided to buy another one in the Camo or Olive colour. The quality of these riding jeans are extremely high. I now have several John Doe Riding gears and loving all John Doe items. #CodieWrydrop on You Tube, I worn the Black coloured John Doe Defender on my video.”

“These are the best riding pants I have purchased so far. The mono layer is much more comfortable compared to having a liner. Being able to order the size to the exact inch allowed me to get the right fit.”

“After much searching, and reading reviews, I ordered a pair of 34 waist / 34 inside leg. Normally, I would select a 36 waist / 34 long fitting, being 6' 2", but as recommended and advised, I ordered a size smaller. These are a perfect fit. I have a 30 mile commute to work each day, and they are fine to wear all day in the office. The armour is soft and flexible, so that it does not rub on the knees or hips, when sitting down at a desk for long periods of time. I cannot recommend them enough, they are that comfortable, and they look even smarter when worn, than the pictures suggest.”

“the armour looks pretty tough but discreet on these John Doe Defender pants. Very pleased with the fit, it's just right for me which does not happen very often. Will certainly look again at John Doe brand”

“The quality and feel of these trousers are really exceptional , comfort all day. Goodbye leathers and my plastic frumpy old trousers , Great technology in these, its the future ,Love them , Still need a pair of over trousers stashed if it rains ,cant have it all ,or can we ?”

“Followed advice to size down but the 30" was labelled "skinny" and too tight for me . An easy exchange and the 32" now labelled "slim" arrived and fit is perfect. So happy I did not feel worth complaining that the fly zip pull was actually bent, not sure how as the label said "Made with LOVE". Have been wearing to and at work and feel most comfortable, so much lighter than the RESURGENCE cargo pants I have. Plan to upgrade the armour to level 2.”

“Excellent protective trousers. Look good. Extra pockets are handy. Knee armour pockets allow a lot of flexibility to get a good placement. Comfy and reasonably cool in the hot weather for AAA rated trousers. Make a nice change from jeans.”
