“I had a Belstaff wax-cotton back in the 1970s that was lost in the course of time, and had been looking for a replacement to wear on both my older, Sunday bikes and higher mileage newer ones. This jacket is so much better quality than I remember the old one to have been - although that one was pretty good. Extremely well made, excellent period styling, practical as you'd expect any modern jacket to be. I went for two sizes up to get length but this seems to have worked well across shoulder width too. Feels, looks and is a wonderful thing”

“Bought this to wear both on and off the bike. As expected excellent quality and protection in shoulders and elbows which is very discrete off the bike. Nice touches rubber buttons to protect tank and corduroy around sleeves/collar. Only used in dry winter weather to date but kept me warm and cosy with a hoody. I find the sizing slightly in the smaller side - on paper I should have been XL but needed to size up to a XXL. As normal service with Urban Rider straightforward when I needed to size up.”

“Fantastic quality materials with up to date protection in a design classic which is capable of withstanding the British weather. Watch the sizing video it’s spot on I went up a size fits perfect with room for thermal layers. Just an outstanding jacket.”

“All parts of the previous model improved. Higher zip start, wider collar, better true to size fit, main zip foldover, better armour and more comfortable. Brilliant coat, beautifully made.”
