Brutal. Writing a review about an item that you wanted to love but simply doesnt meet expectations. Im 61, 160lbs and wear a 32/ small in jeans and most other pants as Im more of the lanky type. Pros: - beautiful leather - stylish and great details (leather suspenders/belt/side inlays) - comfy - snug fit Cons: - the leather stains. Like badly. No, you dont understand BADLY. Ive been wearing it for a week and I cant wear it to any social meeting as you look like a coal miner after 5 mins. Your hands will be black. This is no joke or exaggeration. - fit/sizing. Im thinking of returning the pants as I measured everything by the size guide and made sure they compare to my other (well-fitting) riding pants. Unfortunately these ones are off on so many levels. The lets are one inch shorter than they say they are in their size guide. The back of the pants are too short so youre basically riding with your ass crack out, despite the suspenders that are working hard and are about to burst from the pressure and tension of holding it in place. - the other reason to return them is that the knee armor started causing a major pain and almost dislocation of my knee cap. I tried all different strengths and types of knee armor now, from Seesoft to Knox to D3O. All with the same problem. Its too tight and doesnt allow any movement. While the pants feel comfortable and wonderful while standing and walking around. They are completely misconstructer for riding. The leg/knee section is TOO TIGHT! By a lot! The lower back section that every other manufacturer always pays attention to and either elongated over the tail bone or puts in stretch fabric to make the forward lean possible is none existent on this one. It seems as if these guys got carried away and forgot theyre working on a pair of motorcycle pants. I am riding a Moto Guzzi V7, so my riding position is not even extreme. I cannot even imagine what these pants must hurt like on a super bike. - missing hip armor pockets. All my other riding pants have hip armor. Riding these makes me feel unprotected despite the knee armor. Knowing that the main wait will land on the hip bones during a crash - the suspenders: as great as they look. The company would do well to include some elastic material in them. They are highly uncomfortable during riding bc theyre rigid and either fall of your shoulders during curves or cut too hard into them and determine and stiffen your body position while riding. - price: in the light of all of the above. This item was one that I was most excited in receiving and where I def had the feeling of treating myself to a pair of riding jeans that cost 600 bucks. I have other expensive gear by Rukka and Dainese. I didnt mind shelling out the money for practical and good looking protective gear. With this one it is different. I felt duped into overspending. So disappointing!

It appears I was the first to receive the new line of stock with the new blue liner instead of the old tartan one. It came as a surprise as Urban Rider didnt mention anything until I asked. Either way, its a great pair of trousers, really well made and I have no regrets even with the price in mind. Worth every penny.

Just got them. Not been able to test ride them yet. However... Comfy as pijamas. Insanely cool looks. Armor sits right in place. Materials and construction are remarkable. Softest suede I´ve ever touched. Crazy moto-pijamas
