Laser engraved plywood sign Your laser engraved plywood sign will be cut from B/BB grade sustainably sourced birch plywood. This high grade of plywood ensures a beautiful grain and is typically light in appearance.
Before we engrave your plywood sign, all of our panels are sanded to the face and edges to ensure a smooth and professional finish.
Plywood signs have a unique grain on the face of the material and also a unique edge, consisting of different glued layers creating that desired striped plywood edge look.
Whilst we try to match all signs to a specific section of plywood to suit its look and feel it is not always possible to guarantee that you sign will not have any pin knots or in some cases plugs.
All of our engraved plywood signage is cut on our industry-leading AXYZ Trident CNC. This machine offers the most incredible detail when cutting plywood to shape.
When ordering a cut to shape sign please make sure that you supply a cut file in either AI or DXF format. If you do not have access to these files types, our studio team will be able to help you create them but this might incur an additional cost.
