“The beam has a good colour and well waxed, it has seasoned cracks, thankfully the worst ones underneath and looks lovely over my fireplace. It is very heavy and needed 2 people to fit it but all predrilled holes and screws fit well together. On the down side I was told it had been dispatched and after several days it just appeared outside my house without any warning. Delivery information could be improved.”

We are pleased to hear your are happy with the colour and finish of your beam, each piece can differ with regards to the cracks, it all depends on what tree it has been cut down from. We are sorry to hear your order arrived a few days late, I have checked your tracking number which was emailed to you and it appears their was a slight delay with the courier which is something that is out of our hands unfortunately. Overall I am glad you are pleased with your order :)

“We are very pleased with the rustic oak beam that we recently purchased. It is nicely finished and certainly looks good. There is natural cracking along the grain but this seems to add to the character of the beam. It was quite expensive but this seems to be the norm for oak. We would certainly recommend this company.”
