“Love the look of the beam, just as we had hoped it would look. We're leaving it in the room to acclimatise for two weeks before it gets fixed in position (as recommended). Great product and company.. thanks.”

“First time using this type off product, the finish of oak was excellent, the sizes were spot on, nice leaving centre markings to fixing brackets, not sure if I would use the fixings supplied again, plastic thread with 6 mm steel bolts, gives no real indication of over tightening, I’m sure with experience would get a better idea.”

“Ordered a traditional aged oak beam from here and delivery time was good. We had a problem with our order in that the beam that arrived had one long large crack in the face of the beam which we didn’t like. Advised it may crack further and not the look we were going for so contacted customer service who tried to explain that they were just like that and people liked them like that - note of warning if like us you want a beam with shivers but not large full on cracks specify *minimal cracks* we did return the beam at our cost (not cheap) and a new one was remade. Catherine at customer service sent pictures of the new beam before sending to check it was okay, she also prioritised our order which was really helpful of her. Customer service were really great and the second beam we have is better”

Our *Rustic aged* Oak Beams do come full of character with distressed edges and textured surfaces including knots and cracks to give the appearance of a time worn, old rustic look.
