“I have rated the bench as very good for appearance and apparent solidity. However when assembling it, tightening the bolts on one of the legs, the diagonal to which it is attached cracked. It appears that the leg was not fitting snugly against the diagonal and the bolts pulled the leg in causing the diagonal to crack. Very disappointing, however it does not appear to be a big problem as the bench will be static having been purchased to match our recently refurbished hall and in order to display an exquisite antique yacht model. See attached photo. That said I would like Top Shops comments on the fault.”
