Note: This table does not come with unslightly grooves in the table top sections like you might find on some other oak tables.
This large oak table extends with one or two very simple to use butterfly extensions that store below the table top as demonstrated in our video to the left. A chunky 40mm thick table top makes this a very well proportioned table and no expense has been spared in its design. This table is manufactured from solid oak combined with some premium real wood veneers which are sourced from sustainably managed forests.

“Ordering a large item online felt like a bit of a gamble and it was something of a relief when the table arrived and was just as good as I'd hoped. Assembly was straightforward and the table is really heavy and sturdy. Four of us lifted it and put it on its legs after assembling it (It would have been a struggle for two of us!). At its smallest size it seats six (you can't put chairs at the ends because of the location of the legs). Fully extended we have seated 12 people comfortably. The legs are solid wood, but have an American oak veneer. This can be seen when it's upside-down, but not when it's in place. The extension leaves can easily be operated by one person and the movement is smooth. We are really pleased with this table and feel that it's good value for money.”

“Beautiful quality. Looks stunning when fully opened in the dining room; a real centerpiece, which is exactly what we wanted. With good place positioning and the right chairs, we could probably get 14 people around this for Christmas lunch. Excellent service, delivery and communication.”

“Lovely table and chairs, nice and solid so very heavy. The extending table has a nice smooth mechanism and works very well. The chairs are nice and comfortable. The set looks great. The service from Top Furniture was great; it was delivered sooner than we expected when ordered and we were called to check for a convenient delivery time. The delivery guys turned up within the expected window and were polite and helpful.”

“This table is so much better than what we thought it would be! It is a beautiful piece of furniture. We needed a bigger table for the family and we begrudgingly decided to change our current oak table and chairs, which are a very good quality for something larger. We are so very happy with the quality and look. We cannot believe the piece of furniture we got for the price. The delivery was prompt and the delivery chaps were fantastic. We have no hesitation in recommending 'Top Furniture' to everyone.”
