This compact oak table design extends with a very simple to use butterfly extension that stores below the table top. A great size for seating a family of 6 and the curved cross leg makes this a very attractive table. This table is manufactured from solid oak combined with some premium real wood veneers which are sourced from sustainable forests.

“Overall I am satisfied, so far, of the product, albeit it presents some criticalities. + looks great and solid and it seems attention and care to details has been put to finish. + relatively easy to assemble. +Instructions are clear and accompanied with hints to follow to make sure the table lasts for long. + all the tools needed to assemble it are in the package, so no need to buy anything extra. - Heavy: while this has to be expected by a solid wood furniture, I wonder whether this could be designed a bit thinner in some of its part to reduce the weight, while keep the same fantastic look and avoiding compromising too much on solidity. Tipically, you would need two people to lift this. - Comfort: the bar in the middle is somehow a nuisance if you have long legs as it makes difficult to find a comfortable position for the leg. there are ways around that, but need some time to find the perfect position. Sitting at the short side of the table is a little bit more uncomfortable compared to a traditional table with vertical legs. - while instructions and assembly are fairly easy, it may take some time to find the correct alignment between all the parts, to ensure the screw goes all the way smoothly into the hole (as normally is expected). Caveat: 1. the mechanism to extend the table is a bit stiff, (but I trust it will become smoother over time with use) 2. felt pads are not provided 3. It has not been tested over time yet, so I cannot comment on durability.”
