“This table looks nice, heavy and chunky but on closer inspection is deceiving. The description says that it is manufactured from sustainable American oak, not disputed, its what it doesn’t say that should have made me think. The middle section is vaneered ply and sounds like a drum when you tap it; far from the awesome solidness of the legs and outer edging. Still it didn’t cost a packet and I’ve only marked it down because the description was not honest enough. Your are at the mercy of the descriptor when buying from the internet.”
