“Very impressed by the robustness of these sponges! I have used my first sponge for two weeks so far with twice-daily use and it's holding together far better than the plastic alternatives I used to buy. No staining, no food stuck in it, no lingering smells. Glad I bought a years supply, as it's so much better for the environment.”
“I've used a few different plastic-free sponge scourers of various materials (coconut, sisal, etc.), and was getting ready to give up as all the ones I'd tried had fallen apart and not been particularly durable. However, these Seep loofah sponges are much sturdier and longer lasting, as well as more absorbent. Will definitely be sticking with these and have already recommended them to others!”
“They are alright, but not amazing. The pros include (the obvious) better for the environment, I also liked the loofah side for scrubbing. Does an adequate job. However, it’s quite rigid (maybe with a bit more use it would become more pliable?), so not as easy to get into smaller cups etc. as the regular sponges and forget about washing something fragile with it like a fine glassware (I wouldn’t risk it!)… furthermore, I find that I need to use more washing up liquid with these and try extra hard to ring it out, so it doesn’t start smelling. All in all, I will continue using them until I find a better Eart-friendly alternative.”
“They arrived on time in the post. I started using my first straight away and it has lasted well (three weeks so far) and performed well too. There’s nothing my old plastic scouring pads could do that my Seep pads can’t do just as well.”
“These work better than the cheap environmentally damaging version and they last longer and they are supremely planet friendly. What more could I want.”
“So glad I decided to give these a try. I'm trying to go as plastic-free as possible and these sponges are great.
Looking forward to trying their other products when I need to get new items.”
“Love the idea and really pleased I’ve bought the sponges :) I feel like they will each last a while and love that I can compost them. They clean pans really well and the scouring side is good. At the moment they are very stiff (after a week of use) and so it’s difficult to wrap them over the lips of glasses to clean off lipstick etc, and I worry about snapping the glass if I squeeze harder to fold the sponge over, but I’m hoping they’ll soften with time then maybe I’ll keep an older one just for glasses !”
