“I have been using olive oil soap and water to hand wash my dishes for almost a year to reduce my plastic and chemical use. I was using cloths and standard plastic based scratchy sponges. My daily washing up was time consuming as the soap didn't easily produce a good foam. These lovely sponges have cut the time in half. They quickly produce a great foam and are hard wearing. Will need a copper scourer though as the loofah is a bit soft for anything baked on. These will be this year's eco friendy Christmas pressie for my lovely brithers and sisters Love it!”
“My daughter gave me two of these sponges a while ago and they have been well tested in our kitchen as my husband loves to cook and uses just about every dish and utensil to do so. We frequently have burnt on stuff to deal with - not to mention sticky cutlery. These sponges have been worth their weight in gold, they last far longer than the usual supermarket scourer backed sponges and in addition are compostable so no more guiltily adding to the landfill plastic problem in that respect. I was so pleased with the product I bought three boxes - one for each of my Daughters and one for me. Hats off to Seep; it’s good to see a fight back against plastic that works.”

But was disappointed to see they are made in China. Would be nice to see the environmental impact reduced by no having to be shipped half way around the world.

“I've been using these for a couple of weeks now and pleasantly surprised at the durability. My old yellow sponges would definitely be showing signs of wear by now but the Seep ones still look and feel great. They work just as well too, and I'm going to try one on the dishwasher top shelf to freshen it up.
The only minus for me is that the scourer side is not as good - it's a lot softer - so I often have to resort to a metal one which can be a bit too scratchy, if you know what I mean.
But overall I'm glad I made the switch!”

“I've used a few different plastic-free sponge scourers of various materials (coconut, sisal, etc.), and was getting ready to give up as all the ones I'd tried had fallen apart and not been particularly durable. However, these Seep loofah sponges are much sturdier and longer lasting, as well as more absorbent. Will definitely be sticking with these and have already recommended them to others!”
