“Nice to use, soft and absorbent. Needs a touch more washing up liquid than a synthetic sponge (if using neat), but not loads. Scourer isn't as good as the synthetic ones, but good enough if your pots are easy to clean. I'd be sceptical about its performance with burnt-on food. Our first sponge is beginning to break apart just before a month's relatively light use, which is OK for us, but makes me question how well they'll last for households without a dishwasher.
I expect the price and offering will improve as these types of cleaning products become more popular. For now, these are a good enough substitute, and a price I'm willing to pay, but in the long run, they'll need to be cheaper and more durable for more households to be able to adopt them.”
“I like them and they do work, however not as good as the plastic ones I get with white scouring top, I find these bulky to handle and they loose their power of the scratch quite quickly compared to the plastic ones, I wish there was a cheaper alternative to the plastic ones I get, because those on a budget are never going to be able to switch and after I have used all the ones I ordered, I don't think I will be able to afford to buy the eco friendly alternative, especially with all the price rises. It is such a shame. I try but I have to think about budget.”
“At first it seems like a lot of money to spend on kitchen sponges, but having used them for a couple of weeks now I'm impressed at how well they work and I can see how long they're going to last. And I love how environmentally friendly they are. Great service from Seep too. I'm sure I'll be back!”
“Our one year supply was delivered quickly in the first week of December. After a couple of uses the sponge and loofah relaxes a bit and achieves its most effective state.
Having been through the Christmas mayhem the pad is still holding up well and I think it will last for at least a month.
I find the cellulose sponge better than a synthetic one and it removes grease from baking trays more effectively. It also wipes down the induction hob well.
I still need a standard scrubber for burnt on stuff, but that's the same as when I was using standard sponges
Overall very pleased.”
“These are the best washing up sponges/scourers I have bought. Last for ages and clean pots better than any plastic alternative I have used. They may seem expensive but do last longer than others and the fact they can be composted is a great geen credential.”
“I was so fed up of using horrible plastic sponges and was very pleased to find these! They work well too and look like they will last a lot longer than a month”
