“I ordered 2 DHT11 sensors - worked as expected initially but within 10 days both started reporting incorrect values (temp too high, hum too low). The values were significantly off e.g. showing 15c when actual temp was nearer 7c and 45%h instead of nearer 80%h. They are cheap so wasn’t expecting high accuracy but looks more like an inherent fault.”
“ThepiHut seems to have stepped back from being a hobby site to being a general-purpose IOT company. This device had no links to how to make it work on your pi computers or project suggestions which it would have had a few years ago.
Also, it doesn't seem to work. Lots on the internet about issues with them that require delving into the control programmes to adjust timing, or maybe I've just wired it wrongly but my pico does not see any pulses from it.”
