“The case itself is great (the only one I could find which gives acces to to 40pin IO Header with closed lid). But as stated (from Waveshare) that it is 100% compatible to the original IO Board, the case size is larger (in depth) than the original one. This leads to the powerbutton cannot be pressed anymore like in the original one. The Plastic Cap which was delivered with the case does not fit onto the IO Boards Powerbutton. When just placing it into the gap between the lids Powerbutton hole and the powerbutton itself it fells out.”
“Absolutely brilliant case that fits the CM5 IO Board perfectly and comes with a fan and all the accessories you need including spare screws. If you already have a heat sink fitted to the CM5 then this would need to be removed to fit the fan into the case. As with all products by Waveshare, they think of everything so that you don't have to. Pi Hut is fabulous too - with exceptional service and quick delivery.”
