“Surprisingly good little screen! The main LCD is useable - even with Raspi OS desktop. It is clear and bright. It didn't take long to set up with the instructions given by Waveshare (https://www.waveshare.com/wiki/Zero_LCD_HAT_(A)).
I haven't yet set up the side screens - but I'm sure it's not too hard.
People I've shown are very impressed with the clarity - it's not laggy but you can notice the refresh rate - certainly not 60fps ;). Super useful for a variety of projects and tucks neatly onto a Pi - or Pi Zero.
Pictures is on a Pi Model 3 A+ and it's the same length. Power draw is not high.
Note: Once you mount a display hat like this it changes the resolution of the whole Pi - you can adjust all sorts of settings but on VNC it will show up in a funny ratio. With some adjustment it gets much better.”
“Bargain price for 3 dinky little screens, examples from Waveshare are more than good enough to get you going. The only thing that slowed me down was rotating canvases to get my desired text orientation, but that's just me. Running on an old pi zero, all good.”
