“This kit was purchased to experiment with mechanum wheels. The chassis is built to the usual high standards of Waveshare accessories. It has a nice finish and plenty of mounting holes. No documentaton is provided with the chassis but graphical and video tutorials are available on the Waveshare website. However, I would have preferred a downloadable pdf manual.”
“the chassis is very nice but assemblint it even with the toturial video is soo hard. and once you do assemble then the screen take key places on the chassis plate to mount the raspberry pi so it takes very long do mount the rapsberry pi. and i have a big ICE cooler which i had to take off to mount the raspberry pi5”

“A really nice way to get a start on a mecanum-wheeled rover. Goes together easily and there's plenty of space on the body for driver/controller boards. I've even managed to squeeze a thin client PC on instead of the usual Raspberry Pi. Still building it out but I've tested all the motors and they're decent. Will see if I can retrofit some encoders.”
