“This breakout board might not have the plug-n-play convenience of a proper HAT for use with a Pi, but it has the basics that you need for cellular connectivity with enough control, serial/USB and power flexibility to use with a Pi or smaller embedded systems.
One drawback is that the components on the underside (mainly regulator and USB-C connector) prevent the board from sitting down flat onto the pin header strips if mounting directly onto another PCB, but it's OK if you plug it into female header strips.”
