“It looks good and is very well made. There are LEDs aplenty which adds to the premium feel.
Functionally it does the job well. I haven't used the switching function as yet (arguably the selling point of these) but using as a general powered USB to add portable drives to the Pi, it is working well.
Be aware that you need to provide your own power supply. I am using a generic 12v 2amp supply, they are generally quite cheap.”

“I absolutely love this. I use it to switch USB input (keyboard and mouse) between two laptops. Small, compact and solid. The switch is a hard (real, mechanical) switch - it's one or the other - no waiting to see if an LED will confirm your selection. Still, it does also has LEDs to show which input is selected and which output is live. Having used and discarded a different one in the past, I was very hesitant to try again with this sort of thing (sorry if that phrase conjures up a particular Father Ted :-)). But now, every time I switch it, I think, I really must write a review because using this thing is so satisfying.”
