“Used with Home Assistant server running on a Raspberry Pi5. It was really easy to assemble and connect etc. Really impressed with it - the UPS powered the Pi5 for 7hrs on just the batteries.
Only issue I had was getting Home Assistant to talk to it via the IC pins. Nothing to do with the UPS itself - mainly getting Home Assistant to read the IC data, but found online guidance.”

Swap the cable that is molex to USB C for molex to micro usb and the UPS will power any Pi within its output capabilities.
Setting up the battery monitoring code to be remotely accessible is a bit tricky, but worth it.”
“Bit fiddly to get the intiial boot sequence down for whatever reason and was a bit confused about the wiring. Common sense prevailed; do not attach both the USB-C and the 5V pin header, despite what the documentation seems to suggest. Seems to work well.”
