Really nice display and easy to assemble. Besides, the only line required for it's use with the latest Bookworm Raspberry OS is: dtoverlay=vc4-kms-dsi-waveshare-panel,8_0_inch The drivers are already included making it work like a charm.

Very similar in physical size to the official 800x480 Raspberry Pi touch screen, but you get a bright vibrant ips display and small bezels, rather than the ridiculously large and unnecessary bezels on the official device. It also fits closer to the Pi using pogo pins for power and i2c (used for the touch screen) saving space. It come with 3 ribbon cables for various different devices, the shortest was perfect for a pi4 mounted directly on the back.

Purchased for my openauto pro build. Great quality screen with great resolution. Easy to set up. Included hardware makes mounting the Pi a breeze.

Great screen, very clear. If you are going to consider a screen then this one will certainly not disappoint. The RPi attaches neatly to the back of the screen with the includes kit. I have mine setup so it also has a cooling fan fitted which is powered by separate pins, leaving the GPIO port free. Really pleased and will definitely return to The Pi Hut again for any of my Pi needs
