“This was just what I was looking for. I had an application with a regular pico that needed insitu debugging. Connecting a separate screen was a real pain, but this just dropped onto the headers - I had to rejig the code to avoid the pins used for the screen but could drop this in for debug and then simply replace it with a conventional board once I'd properly figured out the behaviour of the switches”
“The RP2040-LCD-0.96 is a great addition to the Pi Huts collection of Picos with the addition of an on board LCD-0.96 display and a lithium battery charge and discharge interface, well worth the money. The Waveshare web site provides all the documentation but essentially its a Pico and you can use either C or Micro Python to program it. There are some great Indestrucable tutorials to get you started using the LCD-0.96, the Waveshare demo can easily be adapted but check out the the term ”class lcd_0inch96” in Google for links to demo code.”
