“The screen is great but the documentation and libraries available arent. Broken links on this page and the waveshare documentation is not great for this one item, shame because waveshare documentation for all of the other pi screens I have used is good.
Managed to work my way through a bunch of other documents and found examples on the waveshare site for this screen that been helpful enough.
3 useful buttons appear easy enough to program in some basic tests I've completed.
Next challenge is to work out how to deal.with imaged.
Epaper is a really good way to learn. Oled screens are easier to learn but I'm definitely learning more with epaper.”
