Works a treat with the Pi Pico. I ran some test code and all works perfectly. Now to work out what project to use it in!

Got the example code running no problem. Display looks good and has nice fast partial update support.

this is good but could do with a proper micropython library to make LANDSCAPE text easier at the moment you as a customer have to do a bit of internet trawling. If the pi-hut could take a bit of adafruit's example on this and make it easier that would be good...

Sadly there is only one example for Micropython, and its not a very good one. For example, landscape is not possible in a normal way. On my question the manufacturer responded (!) by telling this is not supported, you'll have to change to c/c++. There is a work-around. Define your own (rotated) font and push it as an image. Possible, but not easy. The same for images; no example available but it is possible to do. I've got it -sort-of- working and will put it on github, when ready. So it is fun to work with an e-paper screen, but to be honest the mix of Pico, Micropython and this E-paper device is not an easy one.

The module has high contrast and no viewing angle dependence. The energy consumption is very low too.
