Hi, this came in real fast. From London to Lisbon in less than 24 hours. :) It is my second of these units ordered from the Pi Hut, it is a good enclosure if you need, like me, to have a CM4 connected to a few SSDs via PCI express to build a cheap yet with a quite good performance, NAS. Have fun.

A good case only issue is no access to the PCI bus with the lid on.

Love this metal enclosure, perfect to add to the CM4 and IO Board for a simple home installation and has mounting holes so that I could fix it securely to a mounting plate where it lives. The fan is a little noisy when at full speed and if you want to install a heatsink onto the CM4 as well as having the fan I found that I had to change out the fan mounting screws as they clashed with the heatsink when attempting to fit the case.

Nice piece of work, very precise fit for CM4 and IO board. Requires a low profile heatsink, if you want the best cooling. I’ve cut a slot in the top of the case so I can use the PCIe for NVMe/M.2. An improvement would be adaptation to accommodate PCIe devices.

A good metal case for the compute module 4 io board with the addition of a fan to keep the processor cool. The fan is a bit noisey when running at full speed but if cut back to 80% it cannot be heard.

The enclosure went together very well. They even supply a small crosshead screwdriver. The only small issue I had was that one of the outer mounting lugs was slightly bent. It was easy to correct with a pair of pliers.

Excellent case and fan for the CM4IO board though I am finding it challenging to fit a PCIe M.2. Adaptor in side the case. That isn't the fault or oversize of the case but if you are intending to use any PCIe cards I recommend a USB3.0 adaptor cable and a USB2.0 90 degree adapter if you want to have it fit. The supplied cooling fan is extremely powerful and I did have some vibration issues which I solved by insulating the fan against the case with a very thin layer of rubber on the hub of the fan.
