“A very handy display, useful for building quirky projects - more interesting than standard rectangular displays.
I am driving it using Circuitpython displayio library”
“First off, the service from The Pi Hut was excellent, delivered in a day less than expected.
Regards the display, I could not find my Uno so used a Freeduino which only has a 168 CPU. The example fits if you comment out the image lines.
The image is very sharp and bright which is just what I wanted.
A couple of minor issues, the cable supplied has female connectors which are fine for the Raspberry Pi but not for the Arduino.
The colours for the cable are totally different to the diagram.
As far as I can make out there is only one demo, it would be nice if all the images shown were available.
Now the bad news, I plan to convert the code to a PIC micro and the GC9A01A manual seems to have a lot of information missing, the code has virtually no comments so it is going to be difficult.
All in all a very nice display let down by lack of information.”
