“Great little adapter attach an NVME drive, push it into the PCI-e slot on the adapter board plug in the IO board. Bingo my drive was recognised immediately. Read and writes data fine so far. But there’s more plug the PCI-e adapter into a PCIe slot on a pc motherboard and the NVME drive is read. I have only tested the device on the raspberry pi and on a Supermicro x10sdv motherboard so it seems likely that it will work in other free PCI-e slots on other pc motherboards. Well worth the money and it transforms the pi”

“Product is OK, but really needed a PCIe to mini PCIe adaptor, had to go to ebay for this and buy from China. Why this ? Well, Lime SDR XTRX is to start crowd funding soon and intention is to use a CM4 with io carrier board + SDR. The mPCIe should give great bandwidth for I,Q transfer and allow proper real time processing.”

“Nice piece of kit, simple, compact and it just works. If I was being hyper critical it's a little bit long when on the RPi IO board, it sticks out a few mm over the edge of the board. Bear this in mind if your putting your setup in a case. Installation is nice and easy and m.2 drive connected to it was recognised without any faff.”

“Works with the compute module 4 io board but does not allow the metal enclosure lid for the compute module 4 io board to be fitted if using the case.”
