“Very happy with the sensor performance, accessing it via Python picamera2 library. GPIO pin is driving the IR-Cut mechanism.
I have a question regarding the lens - the 'B' model has 40deg field of view and I would like to optically zoom in to 20deg or better. Are there lenses that could replace the existing, or an add-on to achieve the same?”
“I like this camera, however it was a little tricky to fit the two sensors as you have to remove the lens in order to access the screw holes. Maybe possible to do without doing so but I felt I would forcing the screws to go in and could result in damage to the unit.”
“The camera itself is ok. But I very much disliked the absence of mounting holes in the board which is instead supplied with a double sided tape. It's a very crude method of attachment and the absence of holes necessitates designing an awkward mount. Alternatively the side LEDs can be not attached and mounting points used, but then they will either be energised and/or there will be no IR LED lights.”
