“Please take this review with a pinch of salt as I have had to vigorously manipulate the screen which may have damaged it.
So the screen quality does not feel great. There is a gap between the front layer and the main screen, which reduces the responsiveness and clarity. Also it was not entirely straight forward to install the correct drivers for the screen, as the documentation was not overly clear.
However, considering the price, it is probably still worth it if you are not looking for a high quality product”
“Nice little display, refresh rate isn't great on it but didn't expect that anyway. Drivers did not work with the current and update version of Raspberry PI OS but Waveshare were extremely helpful, I emailed their service department and they fixed them and updated the github repo in a few days.”
