Got this camera to use with the pi zero w. Project to fit inside a bird box. The camera is well built but the cable connection to the pi is very fragile. Better to tape it in position otherwise the slightest movement dislodges it. I am sure a better connection method could be found. Other than that the camera is easy to set up with motion.conf. Had to make my own case. Havent found a suitable one commercially available as yet.

This here is a decent camera, takes images in a pitch black. The only issue is constantly working LEDs, even if camera is not powered. And they heating up. You need to add your own external control in order to power up LEDs only when you need them. So just beware of that.

Worth it for the money, produces good images in pitch black environments, can't be beaten for the price.

I bought this camera to keep an eye on the Hedgehog hotel that I made - and to see who was eating the biscuits (It was the cat). Nevertheless, it does exactly what I want it to do. I'm using the MotionEyeOS to control the camera. https://github.com/ccrisan/motioneyeos/wiki
