“Very easy to assemble. Everything you need is included (except the screwdriver).
I bought this because the official Raspberry Pi 5 Case does not accomodate the Pi5 + Active Cooler + M.2 HAT.”
“This is a brilliant and simple case. It's easy to assemble and connect the PCIE ribbon at both ends. The Pi is the lower layer and so the SD card slot is accessible without disturbing the ribbon. The SSD is easily accessible if required. The RPi 5 definitely needs additional cooling so buy and fit the cooler at the same time. This was my first RPi 5 and based on my experience with earlier Pis I thought I didn't need the cooler, so it cost me an extra delivery. In fact fitting the cooler was probably the most difficult part of the assembly.
Overall, if you want a simple low cost case and M2 hat I recommend it.”
“This is a lot better than nothing, but I can't give it five stars for purely aesthetic reasons. Although it covers the SSD and the cooler the side of the cage are open, and the USB and ethernet ports at the back are completely exposed. If what you want is a sleek little box for an expanded pi this isn't it. But I don't think anyone is making or selling such a box yet.”
“A very nice case that is easy to fit together - though I used the spacers the wrong way round at first. (That's my error but I mention it because it matters.)
There is lots of aeration - which is what matters with the AI kit attached. I expect a lot of dust will get into the case - as it's open sided. But that can be coped with.”
