“I bought a PiZero, HQ camera and 16mm lens and to top it all off the mounting plate. To get everything up and running took about an hour but it's very easy to assemble it all. I've experimented streaming by piping raspivid to VLC on the Zero but the best I have found is piping raspivid to netcat on the Zero and playing it using Mplayer on the client. This gives a near real time stream. The whole unit sits neatly on a tripod and is excellent value for money.”
