“The case is beautiful, though had a few scuffs when it arrived. Thankfully those scuffs are on the "interior" and can't be seen. I had to replace a previous case with fan with this purely heatsink case and it is working well dissipating the heat!”
“Works brilliantly, exactly as advertised. My Pi4 now consistently runs 15-20β cooler under all conditions. Before using this case, under full CPU load my Raspberry Pi 4 would reach over 80β and redline, now I have not seen it go above 61β even with ambient temperatures in my room rising into the high 20's. It was easy to assemble too. I Highly recommend.”
“Simple to install. My second one of these, the other is green. Access is available to all the bits you need to reach. Although I must admit I have never "got round to it" so far!
Even when the Pi is working hard the case pulls out the heat admirably. Pi is well protected from the hazzards of life on the kitchen table by this aluminium armour.”
“Have not yet checked its cooling abilities but it fitted perfectly, was simple to assemble, looks very strong and it's a brilliant shade of purple (and the price was right).”
“Quite impressed with this heatsink, it keeps the Pi at about 47 degrees on idle and I have yet to see the temps go above 56 degrees (Room Temp at 22-23). It take does get warm to touch but not hot enough to burn or mark anything. Takes about five minutes to fit and does not increase the overall dimension of the PI. I would recommend this for anyone using the retropie games emulator as it stops throttling of the CPU. This is also very good value for money.”
“The aluminium armour, heat sink is a great product. Itβs very easy to stick on the heat transfer pads and having an Allen key and screws included makes screwing the aluminium parts to the RPi 4 a breeze. It works well as a very robust and functional case for your pi.
A great product from the Pi Hut.”
“Looks good. No overheating issues. Not tried it on full Zoom use yet though. Easy to fit, take apart and fit again. Much better than previous plastic cases that I have used.”
