“Good looking and protective gear for the Pi4s. This one runs pretty cool despite Pi4 being a hot box to begin with. Other similar cases are very hot to the touch after the unit has been running for a while.”
“These, for me, are the best RPi cases. They give good heat dissipation, access to all ports, simple to assemble and look great. The choice of colours means I can colour-code my devices for easy identification.”
“I wasn't sure about this but was glad when I got it. It's a solid block for the top and bottom of the pi4. Comes with all the screws to bolt it in. I managed to squeeze this into the cluster case but there is no space for a fan unless you mount it on the end. It comes with thermal pads and keeps the pi cool. I can only hope that a newer version would have a fan mount on the side. Well worth it as a heatsink!”
“the product is well packaged and is simple to assemble. i would recomend getting some thermal paste or fluid like arctic silver or something similar because of a bit of board flex i have observed when screwing it together on my pi4 but other than that the thermals seem to be better than no heatsink. this case is super rugged and will protect the pi from falls and other things like that. it is also great for a desctop case because of the weight it provides and stops the pi from rolling when using stiff cables etc. highly recomend new and experienced users to get this case or even the fan varient because of the benifits this case provide.”
“Brilliant product! Protects your Pi from both knocks and thermal throttling. Only reason it did not get 5 stars was the thermal pads were a little difficult to get the sticky plastic off. However, once installed they work fine.”
