“I got this case because I was concerned about running my pi hard and it overheating. I have to say that this case does extremely well at keeping an overclocked pi running very cool.
My only concern is that the three pads that came with it didn't have any explicit instructions about which went where - I think I put them on the wrong way round. I think one is thinner because the clearance between the big heatsink blocks and the chips is not the same for all 3 blocks (why not?). End result - one of my pads is very squashed and another is a bit loose. Anyway it doesn't seem to be causing a problem so I'll still give this a hearty 5 stars. I love that it protects the pi from handling as well and yet allows full access to all the ports and pins... and it looks cool in a hardcore techy sort of way.”
“I bought this to house a top-of-the-range Pi4. It runs over-clocked to 1.8GHz with the beta 64-bit OS. I use it as a dedicated local Minecraft server. When supporting 6 players, it runs at a constant 52C. When idle it is cool to the touch. I cannot fault it, I would recommend it to anyone who needs a silent, fan-free setup.”
