“Might be the way I've put it together as haven't seen an install guide, but seems the screws are a couple mm short so aren't catching the thread of the extended-pegs/risers, so at present I can't fit the lid, which means the sides won't stay fixed either as the top locks it all together ... frustrating but I like the design idea.”
“The case on it's own is fine. As mentioned the screws are a little tight, in fact I found two of the top screws just slightly too short to screw down. However, the down side was minimal. My concern with the case is it's for a TV hat. If you're recording TV and transcoding this will use a lot of CPU (top). If you're using a lot of CPU things get hot (vcgencmd measure_temp) I noted the it running between 80-85C before removing the top of the case. Therefore, as the tv hat is using the pins for a fan I feel there should be more ventilation holes on all sides of the case to cater for this. I HTHs with any purchase decisions!”
“The case is made up of a top, bottom and four sides which connect together with a variety of different size screws; and there the fun starts; as there are no instructions on how to assemble. So if you like puzzles this is for you.
Perhaps the most disappointing part was that once the case was fastened together the Pi did not recognise the TV Hat anymore, taking the case apart and testing sure enough it worked, put the case together and don't tighten, yes, tighten it up, gone.
In the end I just used the top & bottom part of the case and left the sides open; it looks quite cool on it's side with the Green TV Hat led and Red Pi led showing.”
