I had read that the RPI 4 was beset by heating problems and, though most problems have been fixed, it is best to have a cooling solution for the RPI 4. I bought this Dual fan heatsink case when at the same time as my RPI 4. This casing is very easy to fit with only two things to keep in mind; 1: There are two sizes of screw - one is has a deeper 'head'! The deeper head screws are for joining the two halves of the heat sink and the eight others are to fix the fans in place. If the wrong screws are used for the fans they will stand proud of the tops of the fans. Sort the screws before using them and you will easily overcome this 'issue'. 2: The thermal pads included are great for the job. Thing is that the pads have two 'covers'. When fitting the thermal pads, it is easy to see that one 'cover' needs to be removed to sick the pad in place. The second cover is see through and easy to miss. I have seen videos of people incorrectly fitting the pads by leaving the second cover in place. The 'issue' is easily resolved by simply removing the second cover before fitting casing parts together. I have used my RPI 4 fitted with this casing with the following set up; RPI 4, official RPI 4 power supply, this casing, keyboard, mouse, usb powered 7 inch touch screen and RPI camera (fitted but not used as yet). The RPI has the latest Raspbian Buster with desktop and recommended software. This casing has worked well keeping the RPI 4 temperature at around 40c - 45c (ambient room temp is around 24c) while doing tasks such as downloadinsg software (and installing), preparing text documents, listening to music and viewing online video. The casing is so quite (thermal pads and fans fitted correctl)y as to be all but imperceivable. Even in a very quiet room in late night with just about zero other sounds, the fans cannot be heard! I would firmly advise a cooling solution for the RPI 4 and would recommend this casing, heat sink and fans unit highly. The PiHut sell this unit at a great price and the package I recieved was well packed and arrived sooner than expected - a good thing.

Just bought it to tinker with and eventually build up into an arcade until. The device itself is tiny and makes you really appreciate how far tech has moved on. It’s been easy to use and quite a lot of fun. Using wireless and cables it just gives you lots of options and preloaded software is great. Although I can see this getting out hand quite quickly as it just gives endless options.

Works perfectly, a bit noisy though.

Easy to construct but did need a YouTube video for getting the connection correct. Fans are extremely quiet and the Pi 4 stays much cooler. Very happy with the purchase.

Worked right out of the box. I use my RasPi 4 (4GB) as a desktop computer and run some pretty computationally heavy (for a RasPi) programs on it, this case keeps it cool as a cucumber even in ambient temperatures of > 25C
